Dynamic Icons shows the most important mission critical icons and to optimize the space available to show as many icons as possible In a Dual Radio configuration, if the Primary Radio is present during power up, the Secondary Radio will overwrite its own Dynamic Icons setting in the codeplug to match with the Primary Radio's setting. If the Primary Radio is missing during power up, the Secondary Radio will refer to its own Dynamic Icons codeplug setting.
